In addition, the website also has links to connect to other websites of VWU’s branches in cities and provinces across Vietnam, as well as linking to the Vietnamese Women’s Museum, the Centre for Women and Development, the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs (COVA), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and women’s organizations in foreign countries.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, VWU Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa said that the website hoped to connect Vietnamese women in foreign countries, helping them stabilize their lives, preserve Vietnam’s traditional heritage, contribute to women’s movements and assist national development in Vietnam.

The establishment of the website meets the desire of more than 2 million Vietnamese women living in 100 countries and territories across the world./.
