Vietnam has reaffirmed its commitment to the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) and called for disputes in the East Sea to be resolved through peaceful means, cooperation and full respect for international law, diplomatic processes and legal mechanisms.

The Naval Region 4 Command, in coordination with local Party committees and authorities of Bac Ai and Bac Ai Tay communes of Khanh Hoa Province, held a ceremony to inaugurate and hand over four newly built houses to families whose parents participated in the resistance war and were exposed to Agent Orange on the afternoon of July 7.

On the occasion of Vietnamese Family Day (June 28), stories from households in the Truong Sa Special Zone highlight how family bonds on these remote islands extend far beyond individual homes. They are strengthened by comradeship, solidarity between the military and civilians, and mutual support, providing a firm foundation for both soldiers and residents as they safeguard the nation's maritime frontier.

During their voyage on Ship 936, the long-distance sea training delegation from the Naval Academy visited officers, soldiers, and civilians on several islands in the Truong Sa Special Zone (Khanh Hoa province). At each destination, the heartfelt and warm encounters with the military and local residents in this remote area left a profound impression on officers and trainees. These experiences deepened their understanding of the steadfast will and indomitable spirit of those who are tirelessly safeguarding the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland.
