In recent years, illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing has continued to pose potential risks, adversely affecting marine resources, the ecological environment, and Vietnam’s reputation in international markets. In response to the urgent need to have the European Commission’s (EC) “yellow card” warning lifted, Dak Lak Province has been implementing a comprehensive set of measures, with a strong focus on public communication and raising legal awareness among citizens, particularly fishermen.
