From July 29 to August 2, the "Malaysian Tourism, Arts, Culture and Cuisine Festival 2025" series of events was held in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. The series marks a new step in tourism cooperation between Vietnam and Malaysia. This is part of Malaysia's international promotion strategy, towards the "Visit Malaysia 2026" campaign and Vietnam is one of the leading key markets in the ASEAN region.

There is high possibility that Vietnam will exceed the target of welcoming 8 million international visitors this year, said Deputy Director of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Ha Van Sieu.
