On June 17th, at the Vietnamese Embassy in Tokyo (Japan), a ceremony was held to launch the 2026 Japanese law knowledge contest for the Vietnamese community in Japan.

Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister of Public Security, and Chris Landberg, Acting U.S. Assistant Secretary of State, co-chaired the second Vietnam–US Security and Law Enforcement Dialogue.

This year's International Women's Day theme, "For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment," calls for collective action to dismantle barriers faced by all women and girls including policewomen, enabling them to meaningfully contribute to sustainable peace, security, and protecting the rights of women and girls, especially in conflict and crisis situations.
