The farewell ceremony for Madeleine Riffaud, a great friend of Vietnam, who passed away on November 6, 2024, was solemnly held at Montparnasse cemetery in the district 14 of Paris.

The Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations and the Vietnam-France Friendship and Cooperation Association congratulate Madeleine Riffaud on the occasion of her 100th birthday.

Now 99 years old and even though many years have passed, Madeleine Riffaud still remembers and always gives Vietnam special love. "Vietnam is my second country," the apartment she lives in still holds many memorabilia related to Vietnam and her special Vietnamese friends.
