Minister Le Hoai Trung affirmed that Vietnam is ready to coordinate with ASEAN countries, including Thailand, to make active contributions to joint efforts to maintain long-term peace and stability in the region.

The exciting and joyful atmosphere can be witnessed across the country with activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (02/9/1945 - 02/9/2025). It has been 80 years since President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence at the historic Ba Dinh Square. Since then, Vietnam has been steadily entering the era of deep international integration.

The Foreign Ministry held a ceremony to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the entry into force of the UNCLOS to review the value and role of the convention as well as Vietnam's journey in implementing its provisions over the past 30 years.

Over the 2016 - 2020 period, the central city of Da Nang has established friendly and cooperative relationships with 45 localities of 20 countries and territories all over the world.
