On October 17, 2025, the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Vietnam organized a special sports and cultural exchange event to honor the outstanding achievements of the Vietnam Youth Muay Thai Team at the 2025 IFMA Youth Muay Thai World Championship held in Abu Dhabi.

On November 16, Morakot Jenamthukorn, Deputy Chief of Mission of Thailand to Vietnam, and Thai Embassy staff attended the opening ceremony of International Muay Thai Boran Training Week at Swinburne Innovation Center, Hanoi.

Huynh Ha Huu Hieu, one of Vietnam’s top female athletes in Muay Thai, is the world No 1 in the women's minimumweight class (45.39 kg) in the newly released World Boxing Council (WBC) Muay Thai Rankings.
