75 Years of Vietnam-Hungary Relations: Strengthening Friendship and Cooperation

The Vietnam-Hungary Friendship Association held a Friendship Gathering on September 14 in Hanoi to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Hungary and the 35th anniversary of the Association’s founding. The event was attended by Hungarian Ambassador to Vietnam Tibor Baloghdi, Vice President of the Hungary - Vietnam Friendship Association Varaljai Marton, and around 500 members, reaffirming the close and enduring relationship between the peoples of the two countries.
Various Vibrant Vietnamese Cultural Activities Held in Budapest, Hungary

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Hungary, the Vietnamese Embassy in Hungary, in coordination with the District 3 authorities of Budapest, recently organized the “Vietnam Cultural Day” featuring a range of vibrant cultural activities. These included painting and photo exhibitions, documentary screenings, and showcases of Vietnam’s landscape, people, and achievements over 40 years of the Doi Moi (Renewal) process.
200 Scholarships for Vietnamese Students in Hungary 2025

The Ministry of Education and Training has announced a scholarship program for Vietnamese students to study in Hungary under the 2025 Bilateral Agreement. The Hungarian Government will provide up to 200 scholarships for Vietnamese citizens to pursue undergraduate, integrated master's, master's, and doctoral degrees in Hungary.
