The Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations (HUFO) solemnly commemorated the 77th anniversary of India’s Republic Day (26/01/1950-26/01/2026), demonstrating solidarity and affection between the people of Ho Chi Minh City and the people of India on the afternoon of January 24.

For more than 50 years, the Vietnam-India relations has continuously strengthened. Their diplomatic relations are now at the level of a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, with significant progress in politics, economics, culture, energy, and people-to-people exchanges.

Vietnam and India have agreed to enhance physical and digital connectivity, and promote tourism and people-to-people exchanges.
