A ceremony held in Can Tho marked the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Philippines, highlighting five decades of friendship while reaffirming the role of people-to-people exchanges, education and local cooperation in advancing the Enhanced Strategic Partnership between the two ASEAN members.

On the 45th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Philippines, Vietnam Times talked to Vu Xuan Truong, Deputy President of the Vietnam – Philippines Friendship Association, former Ambassador of Vietnam to the Philippines, on the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
