On the afternoon of April 23, as part of the agenda of the First Session of the 16th National Assembly of Vietnam, the legislature voted to adopt the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Overseas Representative Missions of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam with a high approval rate.

President Cuong assessed that in recent years, the relations between Vietnam and Middle Eastern and African countries have made clear progress, with high-level delegation exchanges taking place actively; and that there is great room for cooperation and expanding Vietnam's interests in the region.

Vietnamese embassies in many countries held ceremonies to celebrate the 79th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day (September 2, 1945-2024). International friends express their impressions at these events and congratulated Vietnam on its socio-economic development achievements.

On July 24, Vietnamese embassies abroad, including those in Cuba, Algeria, and South Africa, flew their flags at half-mast, announced the opening of condolence books, and held respect-paying ceremonies for Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

No matter where they live or work, Vietnamese people around the world appreciate the homeland traditions of Tet.

A Lao delegation visited the Vietnamese Embassy in the country on September 1 to offer congratulations on Vietnam’s National Day (September 2).
