On June 28, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, in coordination with the Management Board of the Laos-Cambodia Student Dormitory, organized the 2026 "Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia Family Day" at the Laos-Cambodia Student Dormitory in Ho Chi Minh City.

Party General Secretary and State President To Lam wrote that every Vietnamese family will maintain these cherished traditional values through concrete daily actions: respecting grandparents and parents; loving and caring for children; spouses being faithful, equal, and sharing; and generations listening to, respecting, and supporting each other. Preserving the family means preserving family traditions, culture, and the enduring strength of the nation.

The "Vietnamese Family Festival in D.C. 2025" took place at Rock Creek Park - a large urban park that cuts across the Northwest quadrant of Washington, D.C., following a tributary of the Potomac River.

The Vietnamese Family Day is an annual celebration, which falls on June 28 in Vietnam, focusing on promoting good interaction among family members.
